Responding to changes in local occupancy limits, the Congregation Council has approved an increase in the number of worshippers in the sanctuary from 75 to 125.
Because the CDC guidance no longer suggests that Covid-19 can be transmitted by touching hard surfaces, the Council also ended the requirement that ushers disinfect pews after each service.
Mask and social distancing will remain an expectation, although these will be revisited by the Council in either June or July.
The reservation system remains in place in order to assist the Altar Guild in preparing sufficient individual cups for Communion.
Revised guidelines adopted do allow worshippers to remove their masks to receive Holy Communion and will allow for children to come forward for children's sermons.
