Eagles are strong and majestic creatures, able to soar high above the earth for hours at a time without tiring. When we face difficulties and rely on our own strength to overcome them, we grow weary and uncertain of the future. However, placing our hope in God provides a renewed energy and more strength to rise above our struggles without tiring. By the grace and love of God, given to us through Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection, we are carried as if on eagle’s wings. Therefore, we can absolutely place our hope in God.

How can you share this amazing hope with others?

Today’s world is filled with hatred, unpleasant attitudes, complaining, and just plain meanness. However, each of us can easily do our part to overcome the hate and negativity. We are called to care for others, to love each other, to have sympathy and empathy for others, to unite in thinking for the good of all. When it seems difficult to do so, we can find strength through Christ, who loves and guides us daily.

So, how will you show compassion, love, and courteousness towards others today?

Waiting is not always an easy thing to do, especially when life takes a turn, either positively or negatively. The anticipation of soon-to-be parents, the starting day of a new job, the hours spent in a hospital waiting room during a loved one’s emergency surgery, and the weeks and months of wondering who God will bring into your life can all cause uncertainty. However, God walks with us every day of our lives and gives us the courage needed to wait and to continue moving forward. We can totally trust in the awesome and unwavering love of God.
